I will challenge the report with my insurance carrier as this assessment is damaging and presents an inaccurate picture of my health. Personal information was included in a compromising way. All in all a very brusk, experience.\n\nAlso, medical testing revealed a bacterial cause for much of the problem. I am sure strengthening exercises will be helpful. Once I arrived at my appointment today, which is September 17, 2004. Soon as you walk in the front door, you’re loudly ask across the waiting room. What is your last name? Also, after paying my $30 co-pay I sit down and the other receptionist came upfront while the other receptionist was waiting on a patient. She says I owe another $20 because I needed to pay a $50 cancellation fee. Right in front of the other patient, there is no upfront receptionist privacy between The patient and their privacy. I simply said I am not paying the $20. Why should the $20 matter and go towards my next Co-pay so a few minutes went by and she went and got the office manager in the office manager said to me oh because she canceled the appointments the cancellation fee is $50 which leaves you owing $20 and when I refuse to pay, she did not hesitate $20 came before a patient’s care. She simply picked up the phone and she called and said could you reverse the payment of $30 back to my It is very sad that smart body PT care about $20 more than the care of a patient. I’m sure my insurance and my co-pays is way more than $20. Business from me or any friends or coworkers that I know, I would prefer them not to visit Smart because $20 will come before your care. I see if I owed I pay all my co-pays So thanks, smart body for putting $20 before a patient’s care. My doctor office have already sent me up with a lot of practice to continue my care. Which by the way, they charge $75 if you miss an appointment, but paid me nothing for wasting my time by taking off work for the non-appointment and all of the paperwork they had me fill out online. I was very excited to start my therapy with them and now I am completely disappointed at their lack of customer service. If you have Aetna insurance, don't bother with this PT center unless you want to pay out of pocket, which they tried to offer me before I walked out. I am a very active mid-seventy year old woman who does not what to be slowed down at this point in her life.  I admit I was willing to give it a try, but somewhat skeptical about any lasting results.\n\nUpon my first meeting with Catherine Yelvington I knew she would be able to help me.  After my initial consultation and a little bit of history we were on our way.  She assigned exercises for me to start with and each time I went for a visit I was assigned additional exercises.  She also introduced me to an EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) device.  I immediately saw results and purchased my own which I use daily.  Between the EMS, floor exercise and the great coaching from Cathy I am totally amazed at the results of what is very little effort.  It is all about being willing to follow your coaches direction.  Cathy was gentle, patient, and a very good listener.  I must confess there were days when I went for my visit and perhaps I should have had an “attitude adjustment” instead of her compassionate, kind and endearing coaching.\n\nIf you are the least bit hesitant, by all means, you owe it to yourself to make at lease one or two visits.  Granted, you have to do the work, but I no longer have any incontinence no matter what activity I am doing.  The facility is very clean and comfortable, the staff is very helpful and it is simply a delight to go there.  I miss my visits, as I have been discharged, but I'm happy to give my space to someone who needs Smartbody as much as I did.  Results in 6 months is just unbelievable. My long and frustrating and expensive search for help is over.\n\nMaybe Smart Body has a few hiccups in the booking/reception area, like just about any business right now. But there are some very strong individuals working that area picking up the slack, and that will NOT affect your health care.\n\nMoving forward Smart Body is going to be in even BIGGER demand!
